Some things don’t need to be made up.

I get THIS link in an email from Jen-Jen & promptly forward it on to the husband. Oh – here’s the photo that accompanies the article:

Him: “The picture features a really good replica of the helmet.  The people mentioned in the article are nuts (as are the 400,000 who think the Jedi religion is real).  The article was also as difficult to read as a sci-fi novel.  What was his name – master Jabba the Hellhole?”

Me: “I was wondering if it was really a good idea for him to be smoking. I mean, doesn’t he already have a breathing problem; hence the need for the helmet in the first place?”

Him: “True. Smoking is a bad idea.  I would think that after nearly being incinerated he would want to stay away from anything that resembles or is related to something burning or smoldering (like his legs).”

Me: “Good point. Or maybe he does that because of all the guilt – he takes such risks with his life, you know?”

Him: “I can’t believe we are discussing the decisions of a fictional character portrayed by someone living in a fictional universe (albeit a cool universe where you can get drunk and have a cool costume).”

Me: “I was wondering how long you were going to go along with it.”

Him: “Who says it’s ending?!?!?!?”

Me: “Well – let me know when it does so I can put it on my blog. This is superior blog material.”
