How will you be spending 2008?

They say that how you spent New Year’s Eve will tell you how you’ll spend the upcoming year. I guess that means I’ll be spending 2008 like this:

  • hanging out with the kids
  • earning trophies on Webkinz
  • scrapbooking
  • watching the all-day marathon of Jon & Kate Plus 8

I should’ve thought this out better and made sure that I was lying somewhere tropical being fanned by a cabana boy named Marcelo.

    then i’ll be

heh. i so should have met your at some fabulous tropical location. james and i drank margaritas (too many)….while the kids slept the night away. and we watched a movie. it was actually nice. but the tropical thing? yeah. i would so take that WITH a margarita or other tropical drink.

been thinking about you. just been so so busy and in some sort of haze. seriously. anyway, hope 2008 brings you health and happiness. wish we could meet and hang out. i am so sure it would be the best fun ever.

We watched Jon and Kate, too, with a brief interlude to watch “Nacho Libre”. I’m still in Indy. It’s flippin’ NINE degrees outside. Nine. This Tampa girl can barely handle it.

    New Years Eve.

After a day to work to process payroll, came home and blew away another snow storm. Followed by a a buffet of sustenance. Then played cribbage with son, nearly got lapped into skunked status, then pulled off a three hand surge of 57 total points to victory. Then we played Dilbert – the board game, where the only consequence is increased unhappiness. Fortunately, this game ended three minutes before midnight. Watched the ball drop as a geriatic dick clark did his traditional token proclamations.

What is the status of my cabana boy application?
