Yesterday I went to the Scrapbook Expo at the convention center.
Scrapbook Expo. Doesn’t that just sound good?
There was shopping.
We met Michelle from 2peas. We looked for Thena and couldn’t find her.
We shopped some more.
It wasn’t as big as it was last year. There weren’t any button booths. We didn’t stay for the crop. But we had fun.
It’s nice being around all that scrappy stuff.
I felt the need to stock up on patterned paper for Christmas. (I don’t know what got into me either… since when do I scrap a lot of holiday layouts?) They’re all so pretty!
Found some felt flowers and those acrylic/plastic flowers… so very cool.
Saw some more cool holiday paper.
Bought some acrylic alphabet stamps at the Rusty Pickle booth. Oh – don’t go into the Rusty Pickle booth when you first get to the expo. You could spend ALL your money there without blinking… little books with tabs, stamps, chipboard…*swoon*.
I was worn out when I got home. Took some nyquil and slept hard.
Shopping is hard work.
Or I was exhausted from excitement… found out on Friday that one of my layouts is going to be in a book. Yayyy!
