Too Soon
Last night I found out that one of my ’cyber-friends’, Kimberly (blog: It Matters), lost her husband. James passed away suddenly at the age of 38. I discovered this sad news while I was surfing a couple of my favorite blogs & noticed that this one and this one were having a fund raiser for her and her two small boys - who are now without a father.
Here’s another scrapper/blogger raising money for Kimberly: It’s in the details.
Please say a prayer for James & the family he left behind. And if you are so inclined, please donate.

Another Mommy Blogger
I stumbled upon her story while surfing etsy the other night & felt compelled to share it with those (few) who read my blog.
nieniedialoges <– scroll down to August 16-17 for the story.
All of us can help by sending prayers and thoughts their way. There are people raising money for them as well, if you feel so inclined. Updates are being posted on her sister’s blog: cjanerun
I think that once you hear the story, “meet” the family, you’ll feel it in your heart as I did. I know from personal experience that prayers can help in a time of need. And this family can use as many as we can send.

A gay man trapped in a straight woman’s body.
Somehow I happened upon these two terrific blogs while looking for the perfect color to paint my soon-to-be-new craft room (guest room).
Check ‘em out:
Tom & Lorenzo - they love musicals… I love musicals! They dish. They judge. They bitch. What could be better than that?
Project Rungay - the perfect companion to an awesomely good reality show. More dishing, judging and bitching. Love it.

This gives me the heebee-jeebees.
I found the letter “U” particularly offensive.
And it’s not my fault; I found it here: Dooce
